visit to virginia

After the race we stayed in Virginia for another week.  It was wonderful to spend so much time with our families!

We all had so much fun baking, playing outside, and seeing so many family members and friends.

Nana and Papa were even able to come down to visit.  We loved being able to spend time with them and the kids loved playing in the rocking chairs they brought and playing guitar with Papa.

While we were in town we were able to see the Quashne family.  We met with them in Alexandria and had a wonderful lunch by the water.  The kids had a great time playing together after lunch; they watched the airplanes, pointed out ducks, and pushed each other around in the stroller.  It was wonderful to see them again.

We even were able to be in town for the opening of Mom's newest quilt show.  This challenge, "An artist's definition of Joy" is the first one I have taken part in and it was such an honor to be able to see the opening of the show.

We love spending time with our families.  I honestly don't know who enjoys the visits more, the kids or our parents.  Thanks for another great visit!
