burying oscar

Last year on April 4th our first dog, Oscar, died after getting hit by a car.  We had him cremated but due to the weather when we got his ashes back we had to wait until this spring to bury him.  On May 12 we finally buried Oscar at his favorite spot in our yard, the corner of the fence.  We buried him with some of his favorite toys and said our final goodbyes.  

Even though it was a year ago, it was still hard to say the final goodbye but it was the last step in the healing process.  Oscar was a great dog, friend, and companion.  We will always miss our furry little guy!
